Clean your stove with this simple method.
Over time, grease and burnt-on carbon deposits build up on the burner grates, and they are hard to remove with conventional cleaning products. Fortunately, there is a simple solution!
What you will need:
A large pot or pan (with enough room for the grate)
2 dishwasher tablets
Warm water
Steps:
Fill the pot with water. Make sure the pot is big enough to hold the entire grate. The water should completely cover the grate for optimal cleaning. Place the pot on the stove and heat the water, but do not bring it to a boil right away.
Drop two dishwasher tablets into the water. Make sure the tablets dissolve completely in the water to create an active cleaning solution. Do not stir the tablets to speed up dissolving. Mixed with hot water, they help break down the grease and grime built up on the grates.

Raise the water temperature. The solution will come to a boil, reaching the ideal temperature to dissolve the dirt effectively. If it doesn't, mist it with water. Lower the temperature once the water boils.
Carefully place the grate into the boiling water. Make sure the grate is completely submerged in the solution. Let the grate simmer slowly for about 30 minutes. Boiling dissolves the grease and softens the grime, making it easier to remove.
